April 22nd : STRAY

The 2022 PROXY Spring Series of outdoor cinema continues on Friday, April 8th at the PROXY Community Walk-in Theater with:

STRAY

Directed by Elizabeth Lo, 2020 [not-rated]

“The ultimate love letter to dogs and a multifaceted moral inquiry into humanity”  – Tomris Laffly, Variety

Stray explores what it means to live as a being without status or security, following three strays as they embark on inconspicuous journeys through Turkish society. The strays’ disparate lives intersect when they each form intimate bonds with a group of young Syrians with whom they share the streets.
